Our Community Involvement

As portfolio managers and investment advisors, we see the impacts of our decisions play out in real time. When we advise you, we know the decisions we are advising you on don’t just affect you, they ripple outward – affecting your community and the people around you.

In the same way we enjoy having an impact on our clients’ lives, we also work to have a positive impact on our community. Here are some of the things we are passionate about:

The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County

We’ve been associated with the Dementia Society since 2016 and have recently been participating in the annual BrainyActive Walk for Dementia and supporting the organization. It’s a cause that’s near and dear to us and our clients. The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County provides compassionate support, tailored coaching and practical education for everyone impacted by dementia while building a dementia inclusive community. For over 40 years, this registered local charity has supported people living with dementia, and caregivers and families to navigate the complexities of chronic, degenerative brain disease.

For more information, visit their bilingual website at www.DementiaHelp.ca.

The Ottawa Humane Society and Ottawa Kitten Rescue

Kelly is a passionate volunteer with both the Ontario Humane Society and Ottawa Kitten Rescue, two organizations geared toward helping animals in need. Kelly frequently fosters animals that aren’t ready for adoption. The Ottawa Humane Society is a non-profit, community-based organization and a registered charity. Ottawa Kitten Rescue's mission is to help some of the most vulnerable kittens and their moms. They provide these cats and kittens with the care, love, affection and deserved medical attention, helping them to find homes when they’re ready.
